ATTENTION MARBELLA RESIDENTS THIS PAST WEEKEND AT THE BASKETBALL COURT THERE WAS MAJOR VANDALISM. TWO PARK PICNIC TABLES CEMENTED IN THE GROUND WERE RIPPED OUT OF THE GROUND AND THROWN ON THE BASKETBALL COURT. THESE TABLES ARE $2000.00 EACH TO REPLACE. THE DAMAGE WAS SEVERE ENOUGH WE HAD TO TAKE THE TABLES AWAY. THIS AFFECTS EVERYONE THAT LIVES IN THE COMMUNITY AND IS MONEY THE ASSOCIATION DOES NOT NEED TO SPEND. Stay informed about Mosquitoes in the Community. If you would like to be put on the Call-Back list with Vector Control when they will do Fogging in the area or general information on Mosquitoes, please call 602-506-6616 and follow the prompts. If you feel the water reservoir on Ocotillo is causing a bigger Mosquito issue, email the Town of Gilbert 311. They are working with Vector Control to help control that area.

MARBELLA VINEYARDS HOMEOWNER’S As a reminder, to everyone, during the holidays and especially New Years Eve, please be aware of your neighbors, pets, and the safety to others and other’s property, it is illegal to set off any “Aerial Fireworks” within the Town of Gilbert and the community. As a reminder, 4.5 of the CC&R’s states firecrackers are not permitted. General fireworks are permitted in Gilbert for the fun and safety of families. Other than that, firecrackers, M80’s, firing of a gun in the air and aerial fireworks are illegal. If this happens, please contact Gilbert PD, at 480-503-6500, or 911 if it is serious and let Law Enforcement handle it. MARBELLA VINEYARDS HOMEOWNER ~ GENERAL INFORMATION           There have been several inquiries about the Sisso Trees that were removed from the lake. This was necessary because the trees were planted too close to the water and the root system was starting to be a concern to the lake lining, the waterfall, and the sidewalk. If the root system were to have penetrated the lining of the lake this could have caused severe damage to the lake, and we would have had to drain the lake and done repairs to any cracks or separation it could have caused. This would have been thousands of dollars to do this, so the Board made the decision to remove the trees, treat and kill the trunks and root system. It takes a good two months to make sure the trunks and root system have died out. Once that has been confirmed, in the Spring or as the temperature stays warmer, they will be replacing plants and trees around the lake. We hope this helps explain why the trees had to be taken out. Please see attached letter from the Town of Gilbert with regard to overseeding this season. The HOA is not requiring homeowners to overseed, however, you are still required to keep your property maintained and all other foilage manicured. Thank you.

MARBELLA VINEYARDS HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION UPDATE   Happy Friday to all of you! We want to remind all of you that the “Pump Board” is out per the announcement last week. The board was ordered and will be here in a week and a half. There are going to be areas in the parks that will have some standing water, the Landscaper (ABLM) is manually monitoring all the stations in the community to make sure they keep everything watered. So, if you see standing water, please understand this is to keep the grass from dying, and it will absorb within a day. ABLM is working 6 days a week 6-7 hours a day to keep the property watered manually until we receive the Pump Board. Have a great weekend!
